Maureen Ashley Turner

I am a photographer, and a digital artist. I have always loved capturing images, and creating art so I decided to combine my two passions. I love still life photography and digital art, so in my shop I have a bit of both that I feel represent me as an artist. For my digital art I transform my photographs into surreal digital pieces. I love a broad range of colors and the emotions attached to each of them. I utilize my photo-editing skills to piece multiple images, colors and layers together to produce a final image. I love the mix of realism and surrealism because it allows the viewer to escape the constrictions of reality, and to tap into real creative potential. It allows for them to walk through my subconscious mind and it really provides them with something more tangible for their imagination to utilize.
